Looking for a place to call home..........

Never knew how frustrating and disappointing home shopping could be. Finally after 2 solid months of dragging Reagan and Harper to check out dozens of homse our offer was accepted by the seller and now we just have to cross our fingers that the bank accepts it. Short sales stink because we now have 90 DAYS before we can even think about leaving this box we call home. The kicker is we had to purchase the some furniture in the home, if there is anyone who would like some bulky furniture lets us know and we will give you a good deal. So once we close i will have to either sell the furniture on craigslist or donate it then repaint and carpet the house. Ugh but I will have time since I will officially be unemployed as of February 28th. Bad subject but lets just say it doesn't pay to have babies and try to maintain your job. I have become that statistic.

Onto better topics. Our darling little girls. How different can they be. Miss Tiffany at Reagan's daycare calls them salt n' pepper. One blonde and one brunette. It looks like Harper is keeping her mass amount of brown hair. She hasn't grasp the camera yet like her big sister who has become the ultimate poser. Reagan is such a little person and it is crazy how she understands and knows what she wants. It is amazing that just a year ago she was like Harper who depends on you for everything. It is crazy what a year does. Harper is doing well unfortunately the weather has been warm/hot during the day and cool/cold in the morning and night which bring the cold season to Reagan's daycare and our home so both of the girls have been suffering through congestion. Poor Harper (and poor mom & dad) can't sleep through the night. Hopefully I will become more on top of this blogging soon so it won't be a month before you here from us again

Our sweet little girl is back............

Still loves posing

LOVING DINNER

Playing Peek-a-boo

Harper at 4 weeks

Our winter wonderland

Reagan had a rough first month with being a big sister. The bratty stage lasted about a month and now our sweetheart is back, THANKFULLY. She is finally adapting and loves her little sister. She can even say Harper. If you ask her who it is she responds with Harper. Harper is becoming more and more alert everyday, we have forgotten all about these mini milestones that infants go through. She is finally smiling, something I couldn't wait for and now we can start our photo shoots. Enjoy the pictures and HAPPY HOLIDAYS.....Click Here

Our Little Pumpkin has arrived

Harper Shea was born on Halloween. She was born in the morning and weighed 8 lbs 5 oz. We were a little surprised by her size since Reagan weighed over a pound less. Harper was born 9 days early and if I went to term she could have been 9 lbs, wow! Big sister Reagan is adjusting to sharing the attention. She knows how to make her mom jealous by becoming more of a daddy's girl (Phil is loving it). Click Here

She WALKS.....

It is official, Reagan is a walker and nothing can stop her. She still walks a bit like a drunken sailor but she is over crawling. It has been a little over a month since she took her first steps and it is amazing how well she walks since those first steps. The only problem now is that she wants to walk everywhere so our trips to Sea World and the Zoo are shorten to about an hour per trip. As I stated she walks like a drunken sailor so she falls every so often and I am not ready for the skinned knees, elbows or face yet. I try to keep her walking on other surfaces than cement. No more traveling............

Ready for football season!

Just hanging with Otis

Loving this party

Peek-a-Boo

I think Reagan might have a record amongst all 1 year olds. She traveled via plane 8 times this year; 7 times across country. And it has worn out her mommy. An 11 month old in a plane isn't relaxing to mommy or anyone around mommy. Reagan has a lot of ants in her pants these days and if she can't get down she will let you know how upset she is and it is loud. I was that person on the plane with a screaming baby. So traveling proves tough; on the last leg of the flight (my original flight back was canceled so I had to go from Michigan, Chicago, Dallas to San Diego) I figured out the solution............have the seat next to you EMPTY. All she wanted was her own space.

CONGRATS to Tricia and Jason on their marriage and welcome to the family Jason!

Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate Reagan's 1st birthday early!!

Coast Guard Festival

Playing in Lake Michigan with Daddy

The cousins; Carson, McKenna & Reagan

Playing at the beach

Testing out the porch swing

Ready to go beachin' with Grandma

Oh what fun we had when we went back to Michigan for Coast Guard Festival. Despite the cool, rain on Saturday and Reagan getting sick we had a wonderful time. Reagan definitely enjoys hanging with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles and of course her cousins. The introduction of Ladderball turned out to be quite the competition. Poor Shaun couldn't beat Papa Hood no matter how many beers were consume. Thanks for coming Sandra and Shaun!! Hope you come back!!

Reagan's Summer of Fun

Where has the time gone. I can't believe it is the almost the middle of July. We have been keeping ourselves busy. We went to the county fair, to Michigan, to the zoo and Sea World multiple times and we head back to Michigan in 2 weeks. Reagan is definitely a Hood, she loves the beach and has zero fear of the water. She thinks it is funny when the waves crash upon her feet. She isn't walking yet but is now standing without holding onto anything. I don't think she has gone from her butt to standing (unless daycare is hiding that from me) but if you put her down she will try standing by herself. She doesn't really know what to do from there except sit down but if she takes off walking tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised. She is always busy doing something. Enjoy all the pictures (there are a lot since it has been a month and a half)..........
